So today has been a productive day! I have actually been very productive for the past couple of weeks, to take my mind off of certain things. BUT I am trying to stay positive! :-)
My sister treated me to lunch and I got to hang out with a good friend for a little bit, and later on that night, Lori and I just sat in the food court at the mall and just talked about whatever and it was nice. Then later on, we picked up Katelyn and went to the park... only instead of taking a relaxing stroll, we ended up RUNNING back to Lori's car, because this truck was stalking us and literally made a u-turn to get to where we were so we made a run for it and Katelyn would be the one to not survive in a horror movie if she was getting chased down by a creeper. I don't blame her though, I was exhausted; I hate running.
I'm really glad tonight happened. I haven't been in the happiest of moods recently and my friends (Lori and Katelyn) have really been there for me and let me talk their ear off so I'm really grateful for them. Tomorrow, I'm getting my hair ombre'd and I'm VERY excited! I'm also hanging out with Lori afterwards and we're just gonna be lazy and its going to be great.
On another note, I can't believe its already July.

Hello 2015?
Wow, so I haven't posted anything for a year and some months, but here I am today, the sixth month in 2015, posting something. Like in my previous post, a lot has changed. I'm not going to go into much detail but recently I've started hanging out with an old friend (yes, I'm going to tag you Lauren) and it's been really nice! I have enjoyed every time we have spent together and tomorrow will be another day. ;)
As for work, for the past year, I have worked literally 5-6 days of the week. I get about 30+ hours a week, which is nice and all because I have car payments and pay for my car insurance but dang, ya girl needs a break sometime. I'm not gonna complain too much though, because Danvers (the place I work at) isn't really too bad and I have met amazing people who have become my close friends.
Anyways, my day today wasn't too bad. I hung out with Christina, another close friend of mine, and we just hung out at the mall (because what else is there to do in Tupelo) and then went back home to get ready for work; the usual. And currently, or what I'll be doing after this post, I will be on Netflix eating some brownie brittle and just resting because tomorrow I will be at work (shocker) from 8am-430pm, and I am not looking forward to it.
Goodnight. <3

Procrastinating isn't easy.
Instead of working on my essay for my College Life class, I'm blogging and watching Dexter online. I love writing essays anyways, so this isn't me procrastinating or anything... maybe.
I feel like me procrastinating is becoming a huge issue and a bad habit. Back in high school, I wouldn't put off things as much as I'm doing now. I don't really do much outside of school; I work two jobs and I also do this activity called Big Brother, Big Sister twice a week after my classes end, but that doesn't really get in the way of anything considering I only do it for about an hour. Other than that and working, I'm either at home or hanging with friends.
But it's like, when one of my teachers assign work of any kind, I think I have all the time in the world to do it. For example, my English teacher will assign an essay three weeks before it's due and I will start on it the night before. I've done this twice, but I have received passing grades for both times. I'm scared the next time won't be a very good grade. I just need to stop procrastinating...
I'll start tomorrow.

Time flies and lessons learned.
It doesn't even feel like I've graduated five months ago. It's going to be Thanksgiving soon, then Christmas and in two months, it'll be 2014. Then it'll be my brothers turn to graduate! Time flies by so quickly. Sometimes I wish it would go by a little slower. I just can't believe it. It's like, when you're in a class you dislike, you want to get out of there as soon as possible. You want time to go by faster. But when you're with a friend or doing something you actually enjoy, you never want it to end.
I've been thinking lately how cool it would be to just go back in time. There are a few things I would love to change and do differently. But I don't regret anything I've done in the past. No regrets, just lessons learned. I've also learned that hiding how you really feel and trying to make everyone happy doesn't make you nice, it just makes you a liar. Don't be someone you aren't just to impress people.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm very thankful for everything... and it's not even Thanksgiving yet. ;)
